Widespread power outages have disrupted normal life in several parts of Lucknow over the past two days, with even VIP areas like Gomti Nagar plunging into darkness for more than two hours on Monday night due to failure of transmission substation.
The disruption halted electricity supply to several key areas including Vibhuti Khand, Vishwas Khand, Vipin Khand, and Bhikhampur, with surrounding areas like Vinay Khand, Vivek Khand and Paper Mill Colony also affected.
