Impact Player Mitch March making a splash for LSG

If hitting sixes is the name of the T20 game, Mitchell Marsh is among the first names that would come to one's mind.

Marsh, 33, has played for Deccan Chargers, Pune Warriors, Rising Pune Supergiant, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, but his best as a batter has come with Lucknow Super Giants this season. He is LSG's second highest run-getter (295—Avg 49.17, S/R 171.51, 4x50s), after Nicholas Pooran (357) and is third overall in a list headed by GT's Sai Sudarshan (329).

In 2022, Marsh aggregated 251 runs in eight matches for DC. This season, with his bowling ruled out due to fitness issues, he has proved a big plus as a top-order batter for LSG.

"Every time I walk out to bat, I go with a clear mindset—of hitting the ball with power. I try to hit as many fours and sixes as possible to get the side off to a good start," Marsh told HT on Wednesday.
