Lucknow still in deficit of 26%

LUCKNOW: Even as UP’s overall rain deficit is 7 percent, all seven districts of Bundelkhand region have experienced surplus rain during this monsoon season, according to IMD data.

District Mahoba has received 139% excess rainfall while Lalitpur got 126% surplus rain, Banda 116% excess rain and Hamirpur 100%.

Mahoba received actual rainfall 616.8 mm against normal 257.7 mm, surplus 139%; Lalitpur recorded 842.6 mm rainfall in this monsoon against normal 372.7 mm, which is 126% excess, Banda got 736.5 mm rainfall against normal 340.6 mm, excess 116%,
