Bishnoi gang a terror outfit in Canada

The Canadian government on Monday added the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to a list of terrorist entities, saying that the group has targeted violence at specific communities and had met the definition of a terrorist organization under the country’s criminal code.
“Specific communities have been targeted for terror, violence and intimidation by the Bishnoi Gang. Listing this group of criminal terrorists gives us more powerful and effective tools to confront and put a stop to their crimes,” Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree said in a statement.
