Around 150 lawyers booked for 'creating ruckus, assaulting' cops

Around 150 lawyers were accused of creating ruckus in the three FIRs lodged against them with Vibhuti Khand police station on Saturday in connection with a violent clash between lawyers and police at the said police station on Friday, police said.

Lawyers also filed a case against multiple police personnel, including nine named, accusing them of assault and humiliation.
In the first case, the lawyers have been accused of forcibly entering the police station, abusing officials, and assaulting sub-inspector Pramod while tearing his uniform.
Similarly, inspector Amit Kumar filed an FIR against the advocates Shivam Pal, Shivpujan Yadav, Sulkhan Yadav, Shubham Yadav, Abhishek Singh, Rahul Pandey, Saurabh Kumar Verma, Ankit Dwivedi, Arvind Yadav, Akash, Divakar Tiwari and others.
