Hindustan Times Haryana
|November 19, 2025
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has handed over its only double-decker electric bus to the tourism department, and the vehicle will be launched as part of the Delhi Darshan service in the coming months. Officials said the bus will operate only on a tourism circuit, not regular city routes.
The 4.75-metre tall, 9.8-metre long bus seats 63 passengers, nearly triple the capacity of standard city electric buses, DTC officials said.
