Malviya Nagar case: 2 held over racial abuse

NEW DELHI: Five days after three women from Arunachal Pradesh, including a Delhi University student, alleged that a couple in Malviya Nagar threatened and racially abused them after a minor dispute, police on Wednesday said they had arrested the accused, Ruby Jain, 39, and her husband, Harsh Singh, 35.
Delhi Police said that the couple have been booked under relevant provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act as well as of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
