Entry fee for DDA park irks residents

Residents of Dwarka are up in arms after the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) began charging an entry fee for a public park in Sector 16, and are demanding that the decision be revoked.
NEW DELHI:
DDA on February 24 issued a notice, announcing that entry to the park, which was free till now, will be ticketed henceforth, with prices ranging from ₹10 for senior citizens to ₹100 for foreigners. Entry for all children under the age of 13 years will be free—provided they can provide ID proof. There is also provision of a general monthly pass of ₹200, which is ₹100 for senior citizens.
