Jammu and Kashmir Police's counterintelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday raided multiple locations in Srinagar, Anantnag, Budgam and Kulgam in connection with a terror conspiracy case, officers aware of the details said, adding that a doctor and his wife have been detained on charges of promoting terrorism, glorifying militant violence and attempting to radicalise women for recruitment into terror network.
The accused have been identified as Dr Umar Farooq Bhat, a government employee, and his wife Shahzada Akhtar.
