VVIP guest house to replace Rani Bettiah's 'kothi'

A VVIP guest house will be built on land that currently houses Rani Bettiah's royal 'kothi' or bungalow on Maharishi Dayanand Marg in Civil Lines, officials said.
PRAYAGRAJ: The proposed facility will have high-level arrangements for the stay of dignitaries such as the president, the prime minister and other VVIPs.
The district authorities said they had the approval to build the guest house for which the bungalow would be demolished, as the lease of the Nazul plot expired in 1960.
