NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that the people of Delhi are fed-up of broken infrastructure in the city, and have begun moving out, contrasting facilities in the Capital to those in the National Capital Region (NCR) cities of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
Addressing a public gathering in Mangolpuri in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Rajkumar Chauhan, Adityanath said, "There was a time when people from across India used to come to live in Delhi. But now, people from Delhi are moving to Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad to live there. They say the infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh is better, unlike in Delhi, which lacks basic facilities."
The UP chief minister also urged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal to visit these NCR cities "to understand how development should have been done in Delhi".
