Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Friday refuted the allegations of the government abetting the stampede during Royal Chailengers Bengaluru's victory parade as “baseless and politically motivated,” and asserted that the responsibility lied with the event's organisers and lapses in police management.
Replying toa discussion in the assembly on the June 4 stampede, Siddaramaiah said, “Calling us abettors is wrong. The people and members of this Assembly will decide on that.
