Travel means different things to different people. It could be anything from cultural city breaks and adventurous treks to restful escapes. But have you ever heard of an art holiday?

The term went viral on Indian Instagram after Vagmita Singh's reel, which got over 5.7 million views. While at an Italian pizzeria, she met a couple who were on an "art holiday" and told her their trip was guided by an artist who took them on a tour of hidden castles, local art, regional cuisine, and off-limits sites.

According to Telangana-based Mordor Intelligence, art tourism reached $46.96 billion in 2025 and is projected to hit $54.89 billion by 2030, driven by a growing demand for immersive cultural experiences.
