Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that when the Supreme Court was delivering the Ayodhya title suit in 2019, he prayed at the Dera Baba Nanak for the "path for the Ram Temple's construction to be cleared" and fulfil "the aspirations of crores of devotees".

Addressing an event in Haryana's Kurukshetra to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, Modi recalled that when the top court delivered the ruling on the title dispute on November 9, 2019, he was in Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab for the inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor.
