On the inaugural day of the WAVES summit in Mumbai on Thursday, actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone weighed in on the hotly debated subject of nepotism versus outsiders in the Hindi film industry.
MUMBAI: Neither of them, they said, had ever been discriminated against on account of them not being from any film family. The two actors were in conversation with director Karan Johar at a session titled The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler.
