DUAC rejects second package GPRA plan

The Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC) has rejected the proposal for completion of second package of Sarojini Nagar General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) colony citing lack of clarity, incomplete, and incomprehensible proposal.

The proposal was presented by NBCC Limited (government-run public sector undertaking), who is building the GPRA colony. Officials said that DUAC had initially approved the proposal for part 1in its meeting on January 17, 2020. However, it did not accept the proposal for No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for part 2 of the ongoing work at its meeting on June 5. The second part of the project includes NOC for completion of nine residential buildings with two basements, ground and 12 floors, one community building with ground and two more floors and two guard rooms.
