|August 22, 2025
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has listed at least 143 drugs as not of standard quality (NSQ) and eight spurious samples in July, after both central and state testing laboratories across the country flagged them, according to the national drugs regulator's alert issued on Thursday.
Data accessed by HT for the year so far showed that at least 704 samples were labelled as NSQ by the national drugs regulator while 11 samples were found to be spurious.

But it definitely could have been avoided.
