Bihar teen detained for rape-murder of minor

A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped and strangled to death by a 14-year-old boy in a nursery in Gaya Ji district of Bihar, police said on Sunday, adding that the accused has been detained in connection with the incident.
According to police, the incident took place in Piparghati village of the district on Saturday night when the girl was playing outside her house. Based on the accused's confession, officials said that the accused lured her to a nursery operated by the state forest department near Piparghati market on the pretext of purchasing chocolates.
