Oppn steps up attack against NDA, appeals for change of regime

As voting was underway for the first phase of Bihar polls in 121 assembly constituencies on Thursday, top Opposition leaders, including RJD's Tejashwi Yadav, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, intensified their attack on the ruling NDA and urged the people to bring about a change in the state government.
The polling for the remaining 122 seats will be held on November 11 and the results will be announced on November 14.
Yadav, who is the CM face of the Mahagathbandhan, held 18 rallies in Madhubani, Bisfi, Rajnagar, Babubarhi, Supaul, Triveniganj, Thakurganj, Kadwa and Katihar.
Exhorting people to bring a change in dispensation by voting for the Grand Alliance, the RJD leader said, if voted to power, his government will generate jobs and redress grievances of people.“ We will raise the allowances of representatives of panchayati raj, provide pension to the PRI representatives as well as make the jobs of Jeevika didis permanent. We have already promised that every household without a government job will get government employment, if we come to power,” Yadav said at Triveniganj in Supaul.
