Former Mizoram governor and senior advocate Swaraj Kaushal, husband of former Union minister and late Bharatiya Janata Party veteran Sushma Swaraj, died on Thursday, his daughter and BJP lawmaker Bansuri Swaraj said. He was 73.

In an emotional post on X, Ban-suri Swaraj said her father’s affection, discipline, simplicity and patriotism were light of her life which would never diminish.
