Sarfaraz Khan hit a 75-ball 157 laced with 14 sixes but Rishabh Pant failed to fire once again in a day of contrasting fortunes for top Indian players.
A well-compiled 124 off 113 balls from Ruturaj Gaikwad helped Maharashtra win by 129 runs, while Karnataka were boosted by hundreds from Devdutt Padikkal (113 in 16 balls) and skipper Mayank Agarwal (132 in 124 balls) in a 67-run win over Puducherry.
It rained hundreds in Rajkot with three Baroda batters getting into triple figures but standing head and shoulders above the group was Krunal Pandya who hit an unbeaten 109 off only 63 balls to power them to 417/4 that was given a spirited chase by Hyderabad who were dismissed for 380 in the 50th over.
