HC upholds bar on ‘tainted’ teachers for new exam

The division bench ordered that applications filed by these teachers should be scrapped following the single bench order, which quoted the Supreme Court's April 17 directive in the bribes-for-job case.
“The division bench dismissed the petitions of the Trinamool Congress government and the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) filed a petition challenging the single bench order,” said senior advocate Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya, who represented the untainted teachers.
