DAYS AFTER TWO HELD OVER TERROR LINKS IN ANDHRA, THEIR WIVES HELD

Two days after the Tamil Nadu Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested two people with alleged links to terrorist organisations from Rayachoti town in Andhra Pradesh’s Annamayya district, the local police on Thursday arrested their wives, believed to be part of the terrorist network, police said on Thursday.
“On Thursday, the Rayachoti police arrested Abubakar Siddiqui’s wife Shaikh Syra Banu and Mohammed Ali’s wife Shaikh Shameem and produced them before the court, which remanded them to 14 days in judicial custody. They were shifted to Kadapa Central Jail,” said Koya Praveen, Kurnool range deput
