LONDON: British finance minister Rachel Reeves said on Wednesday the government was taking targeted action against companies in India and China that continued to facilitate the flow of Russian oil into global markets, Reuters reported.

The UK announced 90 new sanctions targeting Russia's oil giants and Indian petroleum company Nayara Energy Limited, which it said had imported billions of dollars’ worth of Russian crude in 2024, PTI reported.
