ARTWORK created by high school students has been turned into thank you cards which will be distributed by a food project.

The Lighthouse Community Foodshare in Whitworth organised a competition with Art Teacher Mrs Walsh from Whitworth Community High School.

Students from Year 7 to 9 were invited to submit pictures which had to include key items, like a lighthouse and also to reflect the seasons of Spring and Summer.

Around 200 students took part and four of the designs were picked as the best and made into cards.
