TOADS Stage Musical Company brings Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the Torquay stage for the first time following recent successes including Shrek, Grease and 42nd Street.
Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory... but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka's world of pure imagination, including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's army of curious Oompa-Loompas.
David Youll is directing the production for TOADS. He said: "I had seen the original West End production, which was also the version that toured the UK and to be honest, it didn't quite grab me.
