Stags win first trophy together

FC U13 Stags attended their very first tournament together when they entered the Good Friday Middlesbrough Foundation Competition.

The format consisted of six games against teams from the North East up to Division 6 level so the boys knew it was going to be a massive challenge.
The first game was against Brompton from the same league. Stags were slow out of the blocks and just struggled to get going and lost skipper Gibbon-Hayes to illness, but went 1-0 up through an excellent Kyle Hayton strike before pegged back to 1-1.
In the second game against Division 7 Skelton, Kyle raced through and scored for 1-0. The Stags looked a threat on the counter and claimed hard earned win.
