Snooker greats Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor will step back into the spotlight in Hamilton this October to recreate their unforgettable 1985 World Championship Final.

- ROBERT MITCHELL

The legendary 'blackball' decider captivated a record-breaking 18.5 million TV viewers.

And a special event will take place at The Town House on Wednesday, October 29, as part of the nationwide Black Ball 40th Anniversary Tour.

Hosted and refereed by popular snooker commentator John Virgo, famed for his quick wit and snooker impressions, the evening will also feature storytelling and an audience Q&A, giving fans the chance to put their questions to the legends.

"The 1985 final is part of snooker history," said Dennis Taylor.
