WhatsApp chat proves woman's right to Dhs100,000

The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court ruled that a man must pay a woman Dhs100,000, in addition to a fine of Dhs3,000, as he had asked her for the money as a loan due to his financial difficulties.
He promised her in a WhatsApp message that he would return the money a month after receiving it, but did not fulfil his promise.
In detail, the complainant filed a lawsuit against the defendant, requesting that the court compel him to pay her Dhs120,000 (the value of transfers delivered to his personal account from hers) and Dhs20,000 in compensation for damage suffered as a result of his actions.
