SRTA begins construction work in Al Ruqaiba 4 area

Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA), announced the commencement of road construction work in the Al Ruqaiba 4 area.

This is in line with the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who attaches great importance to developing infrastructure across the emirate and improving the quality of life for citizens and residents. During a phone call to the “Direct Line” programme, he explained that the Ruler of Sharjah had listened to a citizen known as “Abu Omar,” who had expressed the need for internal roads to be developed in the Al Ruqaiba area to facilitate access to its facilities, including the public park.
