Shabab Al Ahli's Sousa and Sharjah's Olaroiu satisfied with ACL Two draw

Paulo Sousa and Cosmin Olaroiu were both content after witnessing Shabab Al Ahli and Sharjah FC battle to a l-Idrawin an all-Emirati AFC Champions League Two quarter-final first leg on Wednesday.
-
With Shabab crippled by injuries, Sousa was pleased with how Shabab AI Ahli coped with the absence of key players.
"It was a game which we expected against a team who are defensively very strong," said Sousa.
"They were better in the first half, especially in controlling the pace of the game but we managed to score an extraordinary goal.
"Without Rikelme and (Saeed) Suleiman in the team, we lacked width in our game which created difficulties for us, so we had to find solutions elsewhere.
"I'm satisfied with what we produced and now I have to start thinking about better solutions for the next game." Sardar Azmoun struck his ninth goal of the competition at the start of the second half but Sharjah recovered to equalise through Caio Lucas in the 68th minute to set up a tantilising second leg.
Olaroiu was proud of the character shown by his Sharjah side.
"It was an intense game against a very good team who know how to play the game," said the Romanian.
"My players showed determination, spirit and the right attitude with the desire to win but it was a battle the whole game.

Casting director urged Shirley Henderson to ignore age
What was the question again? Sorry, I'm dreadful...\" It's the third time — or is it the fourth? — that Shirley Henderson has said this during our interview. Not that she has anything to apologise for; I honestly can't remember what the question was either by this point. Nor do I much care. It's hard not to feel hypnotised, in fact, as the actor drifts away on a meandering, mesmeric tide of anecdotes, reflections and tangents in her soporific, Scottish lilt.
