Several parts of the country experience light rain

Light rain fell over various parts of the country for the second consecutive day, Monday, as the country was affected by an extension of a surface low pressure system from the west, accompanied by an extension of a weak upper-level low pressure system.

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded on Monday morning in Rakna area, Al Ain, at 14.9°C at 04:30 am.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected that the weather on Tuesday will be clear to partly cloudy and cloudy at times, with a probability of light to moderate rain occurring intermittently in certain coastal and western regions.

The northeasterly winds are expected to be light to moderate in speed and active at times, causing dust during the day, with a speed of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 40 km/h at times. The waves will be medium to light in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
