Seller ordered to refund Dhs22,500 for defective car

Abu Dhabi Family, Civil, and Administrative cases Court ruled to cancel a car sale contract, and ordered the seller to refund the car's value of Dhs22,500 and fined him Dhs1,000 to the buyer, who discovered hidden defects in the car after purchasing it, rendering it unfit for use.

In the details, a car purchaser filed a lawsuit against the seller, requesting the cancellation of the sale contract and obligating him to pay Dhs2,000 as compensation for the material and moral damage he incurred.
The plaintiff attached documents to the lawsuit, including images of WhatsApp chat messages, a car inspection report, and a request to file a criminal complaint.
