Over 2,000 people embraced Islam in Dubai: IACAD

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has announced that more than 2,000 persons from 98 diverse cultural backgrounds worldwide have embraced Islam.

The department has provided rehabilitation and care programmes for 251 new Muslims as part of ongoing efforts to support their integration and learning in a welcoming and secure environment. Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Islamic Culture organised 54 knowledge-based courses covering the principles of Islam, Arabic language instruction, Quranic recitation, and understanding.
