The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warned on Tuesday of active northwesterly and stirring up dust winds, reducing horizontal visibility to less than 3,000 metres at times in some inland and coastal areas, from 2:30pm until 9:00pm on Monday.

The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 6.4°C on Jebel Al Mebrah in Ras Al Khaimah, at 4:45 am on Tuesday.
The NCM forecasts that Wednesday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with humidity at night and on Thursday morning with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some inland and coastal areas. Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active over the sea during the day, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometres/h, amounting to 40 kilometres/h, and the waves will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to light in the Sea of Oman.
