Kerala Youth Congress chief denies sexual abuse, quits

Bowing to pressure from national leadership, Youth Congress Kerala chief Rahul Mamkootathil, MLA, resigned from the post on Thursday following allegations of sexual misconduct, raised by more than one victim.
According to sources, Rahul has handed his resignation letter to the Congress national leadership.
He also conveyed his decision to Congress Kerala president Sunny Joseph over the phone.
