Kerala CM's startup ecosystem slammed

Kerala's Congress arty-led United Democratic Front (UDF) opposition has accused the state's ruling coalition of misleading people by fudging data on its startup ecosystem.
Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan said the agency the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government quoted is on the payroll of the state government.
The state-run Kerala Startup Mission is among the 58 clients listed on the Startup Genome's website.
At a press conference here on Wednesday, Satheesan also released a reply from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan confirming payments to the policy advisory organisation.
"The chief minister had cited its report that there has been unprecedented growth in the startup sector in Kerala," he said.
