Dubai Police nab masked thieves within 2 hours of heist

In less than two hours after receiving the report, Bur Dubai Police Station successfully identified and arrested two masked thieves who stole Dhs660,000 from a supermarket and attempted to flee the UAE.

The suspects were apprehended at Dubai International Airport moments before boarding a flight out of the country.

According to Bur Dubai Police Station, the two suspects had carefully planned the robbery, targeting a large supermarket outside working hours.

Late at night, they approached the back entrance of the store and used sharp cutting tools to break through a secured door. Once inside, they forced open four cash boxes, seizing Dhs60,000.
