Court orders driver to pay woman Dhs20,000

The Al Ain Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Court has ordered a female driver to pay Dhs20,000 to another female driver after she caused a traffic accident by colliding with the rear of the other car due to failing to give way and not adhering to traffic signals.

According to the case documents, a vehicle driver filed a lawsuit against the driver of another vehicle, requesting that she be ordered to pay her Dhs100,000 in compensation for the material and moral damages she suffered, as well as court fees and expenses.

The plaintiff said that while she was driving her car, the appellee collided with her from behind because she did not give way, according to the accident report, causing damage to her vehicle.
