ANP suffers major blow as Samar joins PML-N

Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) leader Samar Haroon Bilour, who belongs to the famous political Bilour family of Peshawar, on Wednesday joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) following a meeting with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

The meeting held at the Prime Minister House was attended by senior PML-N leaders including Federal Ministers Engineer Amir Muqam and Sardar Yousaf, Zahid Khan, and Murtaza Javed Abbasi.
An official statement said that the premier welcomed Samar Bilour to the party, asserting that her inclusion would bolster the PML-N’s standing in KP.
Samar Haroon while specking after the meeting, lauded Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's “people-friendly budget” and said Pakistan's economy is moving in the right direction.
