3 told to return Dhs70,000 to man

The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil, and Administrative Cases Court ordered three suspects to return Dhs70,000 to a man and compensate him with Dhs30,000 for all material and moral damage he incurred.
The court also ordered the suspects to cover the legal fees and expenses.
According to the case file, the plaintiff filed a criminal lawsuit against three men for embezzling Dhs70,000.
The court convicted one of the suspects, sent him two months behind bars and ordered him to pay the criminal case fees.
The Public Prosecution appealed the verdict, and the Abu Dhabi Court of Appeals overturned the original ruling, convicting the suspect and fining him Dhs5,000 in addition to court fees.
