For Payal Jagasia, CEO, Bricks & Beams Real Estate, and her team, a transaction is a deeply personal interaction every time

REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS ARE RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING

Having relocated from Mumbai to Dubai in 2003, how has your multicultural background influenced your approach to real estate in the UAE's diverse market?

Being born and brought up in Mumbai provided me with a perfect canvas for a diverse personality and multiculturalism. This experience helped me synchronise with Dubai’s cosmopolitan population. It gave me a unique perspective on adapting to new environments and cultures.

The UAE attracts people from all over the world, each bringing their own expectations and values when it comes to property purchasing. My multicultural background has helped me better understand those differences, communicate more effectively and create tailored solutions that resonate with a wide range of clients.

It's also made me more empathetic — moving countries is a major life event, and I ensure our clients feel supported throughout their journey.
