More citizens join private sector as Nafis turns four

134,000 Emiratis joined the private sector since launch of the programme

lhe Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council has marked the fourth anniversary of Nafis, a national programme launched in September 2021 under the “Projects of the 50” initiative. Nafis ‘was created to enable Emiratis to play a more active role in the private sector.

Since its launch, Nafis has helped more than 134,000 citizens join the private sector, bringing the total number of Emiratis working in this field to over 152,000 across 29,000 companies.

The programme combines financial support, training, and career development to make private sector jobs more attractive and sustainable.
