Mohammad to crown winners of Arab Reading Challenge

32M STUDENTS FROM 132,000 SCHOOLS PARTICIPATED IN THE NINTH EDITION

The winners of the 9th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge the world’s largest Arabic-language reading initiative — will be honoured at a ceremony at Dubai World Trade Centre on Thursday.

The competition runs from September to March and culminates in Dubai every October, where national champions from participating countries compete in the grand finals.

In a post on his X account yester, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said: “On Thursday, we celebrate 32 million students from 132,000 schools who took part in the ninth edition of the world’s largest reading competition.”
