More approved co-sharing and co-listing rental options are emerging in Dubai as authorities tighten their crackdown on unauthorised subletting and partitioned living spaces.

These licensed co-sharing options are now available in multiple locations, offering a range of price points for renters. However, they remain costlier than the unofficial sublet arrangements some tenants previously used. The clampdown gained momentum after a devastating fire at a Dubai Marina tower earlier this year.
