Dubai gold price swings back to its 30-day low

PRICE DIP COINCIDES WITH DUBAI SUMMER SURPRISES
Shoppers in the UAE eyeing a gold purchase are in luck, with Dubai gold prices dropping to their lowest over the weekend in nearly 30 days. Currently, 22 carat gold is priced at Dh365.5 per gram and 24K at Dh394.5 — a level last seen on May 30, after spending most of June above Dh370 for 22 carats.
There were brief moments late on Friday when it appeared the price could fall another Dh2 — Dh3 per gram, but it ultimately settled at Dh365.5. Jewellery retailers in the UAE confirmed a “slight” uptick in footfall as news of the price drop spread.
