Dubai gold price rises again, retailers pin hope on offers

DH3 JUMP YESTERDAY SPOILS EXPECTATIONS STEMMING FROM CEASEFIRE DEAL
The Dubai gold price rose by just over Dh3 early yesterday as fresh concerns emerged about the direction of the US economy.
The local price stood Dh372.75 per gram for 22 carat gold, while major jewellery retailers are aggressively promoting summer offers to attract buyers.
Despite hopes of a dip following the Israel-Iran ceasefire deal, gold prices have not dropped significantly.
