C.P. RADHAKRISHNAN IS A LEADER FROM OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES CATEGORY
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) yesterday congratulated Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan on being named the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) vice-presidential candidate, highlighting the significance of his selection as a leader from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.
The election for the Vice President of India is scheduled for September 9.
Radhakrishnan, a veteran BJP leader and former Tamil Nadu unit president, has been praised by party leaders for his decades-long commitment to public service and adherence to the party’s ideology.
