ARTELL VOWS GRIMSBY WILL BE AHEAD OF THE CURVE ON RECRUITMENT
DAVID Artell said Grimsby Town are committed to being "ahead of the curve" on recruitment, as they complete all their preparation work for the January window.
The Mariners have outlined their targets for the next window, which will arrive soon after the busy festive period.
There are plenty of games to get through before then, but recruitment is not something the club ever want to be ill-prepared for.
It is fair to say that their transfer track record under Artell has been positive, thanks to the bespoke data they have access to through their partnership with Jamestown Analytics.
They have also had a recruitment specialist in place for the last couple of years, who works closely with Artell at this time of the year to assign targets and then convince them to join once discussions are opened.
