A180 closures planned for lighting upgrades

MORE THAN 400 LANTERNS BEING REPLACED
A SERIES of overnight closures in January and February are set to begin on the A180. National Highways says it is replacing more than 400 lanterns along the road with LED lighting.
It added this work will “reduce energy use, carbon emissions, and future maintenance needs”.
The upgrades are set to be carried out in sections starting on Monday, January 5, to “keep disruption to a minimum”.
